Klamath Film is building Klamath’s local motion picture industry and infrastructure by networking locals with industry experience to those new to filmmaking, providing and sharing filmmaking knowledge and equipment, and producing and promoting locally made films while enriching Klamath’s film profile and culture with independent film events.
The Klamath Independent Film Festival is the premier Oregon-cenric, all-genre film fest. Now in its ninth year as of 2021, KIFF receives more Oregon film submissions than any other festival and is based right here in Klamath Falls. Submissions are accepted via FilmFreeway from Feb. 1 to June 1, with the event held across three days every mid-September.
In addition to other occasional film events and workshops, Klamath Film has a monthly general meeting we encourage anyone with filmmaking experience or interest to check out, meet local filmmakers, find out about current local film projects and see how you can get involved! These meetings are held on the first Thursday of each month at 6 p.m.
