What We Do
The Klamath Chamber of Commerce is a tool to help your business grow. The best member benefits are derived from actively participating. Here are some specific things we do for our members:
- Help your business succeed by promoting increased business opportunities while reducing the cost of doing business by monitoring legislation and encouraging pro-business changes.
- Promote your business by responding to thousands of letters and phone calls each year which request information about vacation, residential and business opportunities in Klamath County.
- Cooperate with other agencies to compile useful employment and demographic data.
- Sponsor educational seminars each year with topics ranging from sales and time management to building team playing and leadership. Each seminar is sponsored by area businesses is available to our entire membership at a low cost.
- Advertise your business through our Website on the Internet. Member's web pages can be linked to the Chamber's home page. We receive many inquiries via Internet regarding Klamath County from both individuals and businesses thinking of relocating to our area.
- Help build your future by involving participants from an array of professions in many hours of planning and working to shape the future of Klamath County. We provide an essential vehicle to businesses, one in which they can work cohesively to get results.
- Coordinate several community events during the year as well as events only for members. The Chamber also provides logistical and technical assistance to businesses and organizations that are interested in hosting their own event.
- Increases credibility for your business through your customers' assurance that you are an involved business, working to make Klamath County a better place to work and live.
- Sends a broadcast e-mail entitled "Chamber Happenings" to members each week to keep you informed about what events and functions are happening each week. This allows members with special "happenings" to list them on the email thereby increasing awareness throughout the county (on space available basis).
