Tickets are now available for the April 2010 President's Breakfast on April 23rd with Guest Speaker Klamath County Sheriff Tim Evinger. Sheriff Evinger began his law enforcement career in 1981 as a cadet with the Klamath Falls Police Department. He became a patrolman for the Police Department in 1989. During his tour with the Police Department, he served as a Patrolman, Detective, and Corporal until he was elected as Klamath County's Sheriff in 2000.
Sheriff Evinger oversees a staff of 94 paid employees and more than 100 volunteers. He has been very active in supporting volunteer organizations including the Sheriff's Mature Volunteer Program (MVP), Sheriff Dive Rescue, and Search and Rescue Units. He is currently the co-chairman of the state's AMBER Alert Review committee. He serves as an Oregon Delegate to the Western State Sheriff's Association, as the Oregon State Sheriff's Association liasion to the Oregon State Marine Board. Tim is the chairman of the State Sheriff's Search and Rescue advisory committee and recently served on the Governor's Search and Rescue Task Force.
About Breakfast with the President
The Breakfast with the President series is scheduled monthly and features the Klamath County Chamber of Commerce President Stan Gilbert and a guest speaker. These meetings are designed to provide Chamber members an opportunity to meet with local, regional, and national leaders and discuss the issues that affect you and your business. This opportunity is exclusive to Chamber members and space will be limited to facilitate an open, frank discussion.
