Chamber Breakfast with the President
January 2009
The Klamath County Chamber of Commerce is excited to introduce a new program in 2009 - the Breakfast with the President series. This series will feature the President of the Chamber Board of Directors - Darin Rutledge, and a guest speaker. These meetings are designed to provide you an opportunity to meet with local, regional, and national leaders and discuss the issues that affect you and your business. This opportunity is exclusive to Chamber members and space will be limited to facilitate an open, frank discussion.
The first Breakfast with the President is scheduled for Friday, February 6th, 2009, from 8 to 9 a.m. at Green Blade Bakery, 1400 Esplanade St. The featured guest speaker will be County Commissioner Al Switzer who will provide an outlook for 2009. Mr. Switzer has been a Klamath County Commissioner since 1997 and was just elected to a fourth term, a first for our county. He has also served on the Legislative Committee and Board of Directors since 1998. Having owned and operated Switzer's Janitorial Service Inc and Klamath Sweeping from 1971 to 1997, Al has many years experience as a small business owner. Mr. Switzer is active in the community and serves on a number of committees, organizations, and/or associations including Transportation Steering Committee, ODOT Director's Transportation Policy Committee, Regional Investment Board, Area Commission on Transportation, South Central Oregon Regional Partnership, and Association of O & C Counties.
Tickets are only $20 and must be purchased in advance. Ticket price includes breakfast, tea, and coffee. Space is limited to only twenty attendees so make your reservation quickly. Call the Chamber office at 541.884.5193.
