December Ribbon Cuttings
December 2008
Wireless Toyz
Wireless Toyz is Klamath Falls is now open! Owner Robert Colville and staff celebrated the grand opening the weekend of November 14th. The grand opening was a huge success and included a ribbon cutting ceremony with the Klamath County Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors.
Throughout the weekend, Wireless Toys raised close to $400 for the Klamath County Food Bank. The store donated $25 for every two-year agreement/upgrade as well as 10% of all accessory sales. The store is continuing to help by offering a $5 discount on any in-store purchase with a non-perishable food donation through the end of the year. Special thanks to KLAD (92.5 FM), The Rock (99.5 FM), and Domino's Pizza for their help.
Events for the weekend included a drawing for a chance to win a new Blackberry Pearl, won by David Kirchner. They also had a cell phone photo contest where photos printed from a cell phone to a Bluetooth printer were entered into a drawing for a free stereo Bluetooth headset. The picture contest was won by Rob Siems of KLAD who submitted a photo taken from his cell phone of the OIT Men's Basketball NAIA Division II championship team from 2008.
Wireless Toyz offers great customer service and selection. In addition to offering equipment and services for major carriers like Sprint, Dish network, Directv, Clearwire, and Sirius Satellite radio, the store offers accessories, service, and replacement equipment for all other carriers. The store is staffed with experts that can help find a way to save you money on equipment and services.
Wireless Toyz would like to thank all of the advertisers and customers that helped make the opening a success and support the new business and the Klamath County Food Bank.
Schnibbity Gifts
Flash back to mid-2000, when a small business named 3Ran Enterprises was born. 8 years, a new name, and a new storefront later, Schnibbity Gifts is now a thriving business with a bright future.
Schnibbity Gifts' slogan is "Unique and Unusual Gifts for Unique and Unusual People", and this is certainly true. We sell many things previously not available at our prices or not at all in Klamath Falls, such as a wide selection of incense and burners, beaded curtains, Wonder Walls, mink blankets, laser crystals, and all sorts of cultural oddities. Recently, we added a line of Bath and Body Works products to our selection, and we're still growing! We currently have an independent partner with us, and her selection includes bamboo plants, body jewelry, and more.
We also have a website: www.schnibbitygifts.net. There, you'll find our entire catalog, and many other items, with more constantly being added. We hope you find what you're looking for with us - usually, if we don't have it, we can find it! Come visit us at our new location at 2815 Laverne, Suite D! It's right across from the EpiCenter, but not near Wal-Mart. (We've had people cross the wrong street, so no worries there!)
