Timber Mill Shores
The Timbermill Shores development has reached a new milestone. Managing member, Rob Shaw, has announced the opening of both Timbermill Drive and Sydney Way to the public. The Klamath County Chamber Ambassadors held a ribbon cutting at the site to commemorate the opening of the public roadway.
The lakeside development includes two bio swales that will handle a large portion of downtown Klamath Falls storm water runoff, guaranteeing that all future discharge into Lake Ewauna will be filtered. All the sidewalks have over 9,000 lineal feet of geothermal piping assuring that they will be clear and "slip free" all winter long. There are 2,650 feet of paved road with curb, gutter, shared driveways and over 4000 lineal feet of sidewalks that will assist visitors and shoppers along the future shops, restaurants and businesses. Additional geothermal heated sidewalks will connect the new roadway to the lake and the eventual lake front trail. All dedicated to the public.
Timbermill Shores will encourage each lot owner to implement green building practices. In addition to utilizing geothermal capabilities and cleansing storm water, Timbermill Shores has recycled the asphalt and concrete from the old mill and therefore has created inherent green building credits to each land owner within the development.
