New Microtel Inn & Suites, Klamath Falls, is Open for Business

Lava Rock, LLC. opened the Microtel Inn & Suites Klamath Falls adjacent to the Epicenter Bowling Complex on May 23, 2008. Lava Rock, LLC. was granted a Temporary Certificate of Occupancy to allow guests on the first and second floors with the third floor anticipated to be open the first week of June.

"We have been excited about this project since 2004. The construction process was completed in ten months, from ground break to door opening. Our staff is well trained and ready to begin serving our guests, initial feedback from our first guests has been very positive." Says Managing Partner Brian Smith, who went on to say; "We are so pleased with how this hotel has come together. We battled major design issues and bad weather, but with the help of our team of Engineers from ZCS in Klamath Falls, Architects from ORW in Medford and some very industrious Sub-Contractors we brought this project in. The total project cost will exceed $3.3 million and nearly $2.5 million was spent here in Klamath County with local businesses."

The hotel features 58 rooms that recently won the coveted International Hotel Design Award. The franchise offers Free Local and Long Distance Telephone Service, Free Continental Breakfast, Free HBO and HD Digital TV Programming. There are three types of rooms available all with the new Dreamwell Bedding Package; With Single, Double and Suites with prices beginning at $69 and ending at $89. The hotel also features two Jacuzzi suites at $139. An Indoor/Outdoor Pool will open in June and features a 73 foot waterslide to be installed in July.
