It's time for the Klamath County Chamber of Commerce 7th Annual Hula-Palooza Putting Challenge and we're shaking things up!
The Klamath County Chamber of Commerce announces the return of the Annual Putting Challenge!! The Putting Challenge will be held on Friday, August 20, 2010 at the Running Y Ranch Resort's Executive Putting Course.This event was designed specifically to be a fun event for family, friends and co-workers.
This fun-filled, no experience necessary Hawaiian-themed event is great for golfers and non-golfers alike! With an award recognizing both the winning team and the team that was not exactly on their game, you can be sure this isn't your run-of-the-mill golf tournament. Teams can include family, friends, and/or co-workers. Executive Director Charles Massie says, "We encourage businesses use the Putting Challenge as a team-building event." As a matter of fact, the Klamath County Chamber of Commerce is issuing a "Corporate Kahuna Challenge" to local businesses. Massie invites local businesses to form a team and compete against other local businesses for the title of "Corporate Kahuna Champions." The winning team will be awarded a trophy to proudly display in their offices.
The Putting Challenge is played as a basic four-man scramble. Awards are given for Big Kahuna (the low gross team), The Duffer (high gross team), and Ace in the Hole (hole-in-one). After the event, teams are treated to a catered dinner and plenty of time to continue socializing.
