Join ScienceWorks and OMSI for a fun and engaging teacher workshop designed to introduce middle and high school teachers to the world of LEGO Robotics.
This workshop, facilitated by a certified LEGO trainer from OMSI, guides teachers through fun and engaging training experiences that will give a fundamental introduction to LEGO Robotics. Build your first robot, begin programming, and solve problems using STEM skills. Use hands-on lessons that support students to both achieve curriculum goals and boost 21st century skills like creativity, critical thinking and problem-solving in a collaborative environment. By the end of the course, you will be familiar with the basics of the LEGO MINDSTORMS Education EV3 hardware, software and curriculum resources and prepared to successfully implement LEGO Robotics in your classroom or afterschool club.
