Tuesday, December 11th 5:30pm
Downtown Klamath County Library
The downtown Klamath County Library will screen the Mexican romantic drama I Dream in Another Language on Tuesday, December 11th at 5:30 pm.
When a language dies, a unique vision of the world is lost forever. Martín, a young university researcher in linguistics, arrives in a small tropical village to record the last two speakers of a rare indigenous language. There’s just one problem: the two speakers in question are two feuding old men who haven’t spoken a word to each other – in their native tongue or otherwise – in 50 years. Can Martín mediate the two men through their dispute, or will they take their grudge – and their language – to their graves…?
I Dream in Another Language is UNRATED, in Spanish with English subtitles, and runs for one hour, 43 minutes. No registration is necessary. For more information, please call 541-882-8894.
