Let’s rock out with rock science at the Klamath County Library
Wednesday, July 11th 10:30am
Downtown Klamath County Library
Join us at the downtown Klamath County Library on Wednesday, July 11th at 10:30 am for our latest Summer Reading Program event: some hands-on geology from the University of Oregon’s Museum of Natural and Cultural History!
We open the doors on Wednesdays at 10 am especially for the Summer Reading Program Family Performance Series. After the show, join us for lunch across the street at the Klamath County courthouse.
During Oregon Rocks!, kids can get hands on experience with the geological forces that shaped Oregon’s landscape, including specimens of stones and fossils, as well as experiments highlighting earthquakes, volcanoes and more!
This performance is for all ages, but those under 10 years old need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian, please. Adults must be accompanied by a child for admittance to the library during this special event.
