Learn how to get grant money for your nonprofit at the latest Philanthropic Quest workshop on Thursday, June 20th at Oregon Tech’s Owens Hall, room 206, 3201 Campus Drive. The organization will hold two identical sessions of the workshop to better fit your schedule: one will run from 9 am to noon, and the other from 1 pm to 4 pm.
Karen Kunz, Oregon Tech librarian and specialist in grant source databases, will guide you through using the Foundation Center’s Foundation Directory Online to find foundations, corporations, and other groups with grant money to give to nonprofits like yours. The directory is free for public access through the computers at Oregon Tech’s Learning Resources Center.
Refreshments will be served.
Registration is required and is limited to 25 participants for each session. The registration deadline is Monday, June 10th, and there is a $10 registration fee. To register, go to klamathcommunityfoundation.org and click on “Event Tickets” or contact Heidi Neel Biggs by email: email@example.com. You can pay your registration fee with cash, credit card (via the website linked above) or with a check payable to Klamath Community Foundation.
The Philanthropic Quest workshops are a collaborative series sponsored by the Klamath County Library Foundation, the Klamath Community Foundation, and the Oregon Community Foundation. The series is aimed at increasing the number of successful grant proposals prepared in the Klamath Basin.
