Klamath County Library

Saturday, April 6th from 10:30 am to noon

Let’s get ready for the 2019 gardening season! The Oregon State University Klamath Basin Research and Extension Center is back with another series of gardening workshops, and this time around they have tips for growing, pollinating and managing pests without harmful chemicals.

Nicole Sanchez, an Oregon State University assistant professor in horticulture, will lead both budding and experienced gardeners in monthly workshops at the downtown, South Suburban and Chiloquin libraries through April.

Sanchez has worked in the horticulture industry for nearly 30 years. She runs the Klamath County Master Gardener Program at the OSU Klamath Basin Research and Extension Center, and has worked extensively with both home gardeners and commercial fruit and vegetable growers.

No pre-registration or prerequisites are required to attend any of the workshops. Each monthly lecture will be offered three times at each of the host libraries, so feel free to choose the time slot that best fits your schedule! Our upcoming topics and workshop dates are:
