Tuesday, May 8th 5:30pm
Downtown Klamath County Library
The downtown Klamath County Library will screen the French documentary The Paris Opera on Tuesday, May 8th at 5:30 pm.
The Paris Opera takes you behind the scenes of the Opéra National de Paris, one of the foremost opera companies in the world. The documentary takes you behind the scenes with managing director Stéphane Lissner as he handles crises ranging from finances to ballet choreography to labor strikes to last-minute emergency understudy replacements as the Opéra prepares for the 2015-2016 performance season. The controlled chaos takes a tragic turn when Paris is rocked by a series of terrorist attacks in November 2015. Still, the show must go on…
The Paris Opera is UNRATED, in French and English with English subtitles, and runs for one hour, 50 minutes. No registration is necessary. For more information, please call 541-882-8894.
