Kick off a new way to win prizes this summer at the downtown library!

Thursday, June 27th 2PM
Downtown Klamath County Library

The downtown Klamath County Library is launching an all-new event series for teens this summer, in partnership with Youth Rising! Join us for an Ice Cream Social on Thursday, June 27th at 2 pm to kick it off!

We’re calling it Choose Your Own Adventure: on top of earning prizes for reading through the library’s Summer Reading Program, teens can also win stuff by attending events at the library and Youth Rising (729 Main Street downtown).

Pick up a Summer Reading Program “passport” at the downtown library (we’ll have plenty to give out at the ice cream social). On the back is a bingo card chock-full of stuff to do throughout the summer. Mark off events as you attend them, and as you get a prize for each bingo you form! If you’re dedicated enough to mark off every square on the card, you’ll earn our extremely awesome ultimate grand prize. (We can’t reveal what the extremely awesome ultimate grand prize is just yet, but we assure you: it will, in fact, be extremely awesome.)

If you’re the sort of person who doesn’t want to carry around a piece of paper with you all summer, you’ll also be able to track your bingo card through the READsquared app! We’ll show you how at the ice cream social.

For more information about Choose Your Own Adventure and other Summer Reading Program events for teens, call 541-882-8894 or stop by the downtown library’s Youth Services desk.
