Investigate human rights violations in China with Letter from Masanjia at the Klamath County Library

Tuesday, March 5th 5:30pm
Downtown Klamath County Library

The downtown Klamath County Library is screening the documentary Letter from Masanjia on Tuesday, March 5th at 5:30 pm.

When an Oregon mom bought a package of “made in China” Halloween decorations, she got a shocking surprise: inside was a letter from a political prisoner named Sun Yi, pleading for rescue from horrific conditions inside China’s notorious Masanjia labor camp. News of the letter went viral, and the attention pressured China to abolish its labor camp system. But Sun Yi’s efforts to fight for human rights in China is far from over…

Letter from Masanjia is unrated and runs for 1 hour, 15 minutes.
