Discuss the global honeybee crisis at an all-ages screening of the documentary The Queen of the Sun: What Are the Bees Telling Us? On Thursday, August 23rd at 5pm at the downtown Klamath County Library.

This event is co-hosted by the Klamath Lake Land Trust and the Klamath Basin Beekeepers Association.

The Queen of the Sun examines humanity’s ancient relationship with honeybees, their important role in food production, and the mystery behind Colony Collapse Disorder, a phenomenon that can destroy a hive’s population seemingly without warning or explanation. The film features a worldwide cast of beekeepers, activists, and academics, including New York Times bestselling author Michael Pollan.

The Queen of the Sun is unrated and runs for 1 hour, 23 minutes.
