Defeat the evil Dr. Diabolical once again at the Klamath County Library!
Friday, April 26th 6pm
Downtown Klamath County Library
The downtown Klamath County Library has another after-hours murder mystery for teens ages 12-18! Take on our Ancient-Egyptian-themed challenge on Friday, April 26th at 6 pm.
The evil Dr. Diabolical is back, and this time he thinks he’s found a loophole to immortality. If he destroys the scale in the Hall of Ma’at used to judge the dead in the Egyptian underworld, he’ll live forever (which is admittedly a pretty crazy idea, but you don’t get a name like Dr. Diabolical if you’re not willing to pursue crazy ideas).
Dr. Diabolical’s path of destruction has repercussions for all of us: with no way to discern the wicked from the worthy, we’re all at the mercy of the Ancient Egyptian beast-goddess Ammit, Eater of Hearts. (And you don’t get an epithet like Eater of Hearts if you have any mercy to give.) Can you restore the scale before we’re all doomed?!
(Adventurers are encouraged to dress fancy. You don’t want to stand before Anubis, lord of the Ancient Egyptian underworld, if you’re dressed like a schlub.)
Space is limited! Registration is required. Stop by the Youth Services desk or call 541-882-8894 to sign up.
