Create a picture book at the Klamath County Library
Tuesdays and Thursdays in July at 2pm starting July 3rd
Author Reading & Signing Event: Tuesday, July 31st at 2pm
Downtown Klamath County Library
Youth and teens ages 10-18 can make their very own picture book at the downtown Klamath County Library! Join us Tuesdays and Thursdays at 2 pm throughout July for a series of workshops where we’ll come up with characters, develop a story, and draw out the whole book. We’ve got all the craft supplies for the project – and we’ll help drum up ideas if you get stuck with writer’s block.
On the last Tuesday of the month (July 31st), we’ll gather up all the authors, families and friends for a public reading of the new books with refreshments, and fans will have the opportunity to have their books signed by the authors. The library will save duplicate copies of the books so that future library patrons will be able to enjoy the stories.
Space is limited! Registration is required. For more information or to sign up, please visit the Youth Services desk at the downtown library or call 541-882-8894.
