Come catch Pokémon at the Klamath County Library!

Downtown Klamath County Library

Gotta catch ‘em all at the Klamath County Library! Join us on Wednesdays at 3:30 pm for Pokémon adventures:

  • January 3rd: Build a Pokédex! Every great Pokémon master’s career started with a blank Pokédex. Craft yours and begin your quest to catch ‘em all!
  • January 10th: Pokémon Pursuit We’re heading outside – dress warm! – to Veterans Park and catching critters with the augmented reality app Pokémon Go! (Don’t have a smartphone? There will be physical Pokémon to catch at the park, too.) We’ll warm up with hot cocoa and cookies back at the library.
  • January 17th: Pokémon Crafts! We’ll be building all kinds of Pokémon-themed creations, including pixelated pictures with heat-fusible perler beads.
  • January 24th: Pokémon Plushies! Choosing a fire, grass, or water type “starter” Pokemon is the first big decision for any aspiring Pokémon master. We’ll help you make a plush toy of your favorite starter Pokemon – we’ll provide all the materials and patterns.
  • January 31st: Pokémon Bingo! We’re playing Pokémon-themed bingo and giving out candy for winners!

And as always, the downtown library hosts both a gym and a “Poké Stop” in Pokémon Go for more monster-catching fun.

Registration for these events is not required, but children under 10 should come with a parent or guardian, please. For more information, please call 541-882-8894 or visit the Youth Services desk.
