Celebrate National Poetry Month at the Klamath County Library!
Sunday, April 7th 2pm
Downtown Klamath County Library
April is National Poetry Month! Celebrate with a reading by local poets on Sunday, April 7th at 2 pm at the downtown Klamath County Library.
The Spoken Word, a group of seven local poets – Emily Strauss, Nicole Sanchez, Charlie McGonigle, Carol Imani, Alex Spenser, Sally Wells, and Ron Crete – will share their original compositions. Local musician Erin Barker will provide musical accompaniment, and light refreshments will be on hand to enjoy.
If you feel the urge to share your own poetry with the world, compose something on the “magnetic poetry” wall at the downtown library starting Monday, April 1st! We’ll be posting poems left there throughout April on our Facebook page, www.facebook.com/KlamathCountyLibrary.
For more information, please call 541-882-8894 or stop by the downtown library’s Information & Reference desk.
