Early fall is a great time to visit Klamath Falls. The leaves are changing colors and potatoes are being harvested. Potatoes have always been an icon for Klamath County. We even have a potato festival complete with Potato Princesses. At the Ambassador Convention this year, you'll be able to decorate a potato using the theme of your county. It doesn't have to be Mr. Potato Head, it can become an island, a mountain, or whatever your imagination leads you to. Bring your items or use items available at the convention. Decorating potatoes begins on Thursday night in conjunction with check in and the downtown 3rd Thursday event.

Every 3rd Thursday in the summer, the sidewalks of downtown Klamath Falls come alive with artists, musicians and shopping. The Ambassador Convention kicks off on a Third Thursday at 4 p.m. at The Ledge, 369 S. 6th Street. The Ledge is the home of Yeti's Lair Climbing Gym, where you can climb to your heart's content. Then you are off on a scavenger hunt. To collect items while you are enjoying downtown Klamath Falls. Scavenger Hunt prizes will be given out Friday morning at the convention.

Registration forms will be sent to local Chamber offices and online registration will be available on the Klamath County Chamber of Commerce website soon. Details will be posted here as they are available - check back often!
